Lisa Witcher, Psy.D.
Lisa Witcher, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist who specializes in forensic psychology and maintains an independent practice in Kansas City, Missouri. She received her Psy.D. in clinical psychology with an emphasis in forensic and correctional psychology from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, and completed her postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology at the Center for Behavioral Medicine, which is affiliated with the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Dr. Witcher served as a Certified Forensic Examiner with the Missouri Department of Mental Health for a decade; she also served as an Assistant Training Director and then Training Director of its APA-Accredited Internship program. Within Witcher & Associates, Dr. Witcher’s primary duties involve conducting psychological evaluations of criminal defendants, testifying in court, and providing consultation to attorneys. She is trained and experienced in performing violence and sexual risk assessments. Dr. Witcher is the company’s main contact and assists in coordinating cases and managing business matters for the other associates. Although she mostly practices in Kansas and Missouri, Dr. Witcher also provides services via telehealth in Psypact approved states.
Tiffany Harrop, Ph.D.
Tiffany Harrop, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist in Missouri who specializes in forensic psychology. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She completed her doctoral internship in forensic psychology at the Center for Behavioral Medicine and postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology at the Medical University of South Carolina within the Community and Public Safety Psychiatry Division. Dr. Harrop is employed at the Center for Behavioral Medicine where she serves as a Certified Forensic Examiner for the Missouri Department of Mental Health and the Assistant Training Director of the APA-Accredited Internship program. Dr. Harrop’s primary duties at Witcher & Associates involve conducting psychological evaluations of criminal defendants and providing expert testimony and consultation regarding psycho-legal matters. She also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine.
Alexis Humenik, Psy.D.
Alexis Humenik, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in forensic psychology in the state of Missouri. She graduated with her masters in forensic psychology from The George Washington University prior to receiving her doctorate in clinical psychology from Baylor University. Dr. Humenik completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology from the Center for Behavioral Medicine. She is currently employed as a Certified Forensic Examiner for the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Dr. Humenik is an associate with Witcher & Associates, where she conducts a variety of psycholegal evaluations for both adult and adolescent defendants, and she provides expert testimony.
Kathleen (Kathi) Smith, Ph.D.
Kathleen (Kathi) Smith, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist in Missouri who specializes in forensic psychology. She graduated with her masters in clinical psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. She completed her doctoral internship in psychology at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology at the Center for Behavioral Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. Following fellowship, she was employed at Bridgewater State Hospital/Wellpath in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Presently, Dr. Smith is employed at the Center for Behavioral Medicine as a Certified Forensic Examiner for the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Dr. Smith’s primary duties with Witcher & Associates involve conducting various psychological evaluations for both adult and adolescent defendants, with a special interest in conducting psychosexual/SVP evaluations. She also provides expert testimony and consultation regarding psycho-legal matters.
Kelsey Parker, LCSW
Kelsey Parker, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in forensic social work. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in legal issues from Pittsburg State University prior to receiving her master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri—Kansas City. She completed her master’s level internship while also employed as a full-time social worker on the forensic psychiatric unit at the Center for Behavioral Medicine, where she worked for seven years with individuals deemed incompetent to stand trial. Ms. Parker was later employed at Endeavor Health Services in Buffalo, New York as a program manager for an outpatient forensic clinic working primarily with individuals on probation/parole for sexual offenses. She now works for the Veteran’s Health Administration. Ms. Parker’s primary duties within Witcher & Associates include conducting life history investigations, completing social histories, and making recommendations regarding treatment and placement.
